In articles on pleas for missing children, you can guarantee that any fact that will appeal to the public in deciding to come forward with information will be there. If the "abductor" has a history of mental illness, they will publicize it. If the abductor has any criminal record, they will publicize that too. The media is compelled by their own liability not to provide defamatory statements and must provide facts. This does not stop them from stringing these facts into a persuasive article to compel readers to act and turn this mother in. The mother raised concerns about child sexual abuse that were not substantiated. That does not mean that the boys are not at risk, nor does this mean that the mother is lying. If there was evidence that cleared the father of child sexual abuse, the newspaper would state so as it wants to persuade you to hunt them down like criminals. The father having custody of the boys does not mean anything at all, this could be a typical junk psychology custody determination of Parent Alienation Syndrome. The father even admits that he believes that a women's organization is helping her. Why would they help her so something that would put them at a huge legal risk, if there wasn't something to it? The other thing you need to ask yourself is, why would a good father deprive his own children from access to vital resources such as hospitals, food and clothing? Another fact in the articles that it mentions is that initially he broke the court order and denied the mother access. She had to apply to the hague convention just to see her sons on top of being concerned of the alleged sexual abuse. Stop Judicial Abuse The family Court in Australia and many other countries do not investigate child abuse. They investigate whether the parent will encourage contact and if the parent shows any signs of not encouraging contact, the children are sent to the other parent. False allegations of child abuse are as low as 5%, yet every parent is treated as if they were lying. Welfare services seldom assist anyone involved in family court proceedings and some laws bar child protection from investigating. Despite PAS not accepted by global psychological associations and is not in the diagnostic and statistical manual, the use in the family courts are very high. These men have had influence adverse to women and children's rights in the family court, particularly domestic violence victims who are now reduced to having to negotiate contact with their perpetrators about shared parenting. After public outrage over the appointments, Warwick Marsh was dismissed. Despite, being an author to the disgraceful publication, "21 reasons why gender matters", promoting homosexuality as a mental illness in the lone fathers associations newsletter and his group, the Lone Fathers Association, has further lobbied and advocated against equal rights and protections for same-sex couples and their children. Counting the Hours:The 1st World Conference for Women’s Shelters The 1st World Conference for Women’s Shelters While attending the conference was an inspiring and powerful experience, it also was a stark reminder that the 800 female and male delegates from 51 countries were only a small percentage of shelter workers all over the world. Considering all forms of violence against women – Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Trafficking, Honour Killings, Genital Mutilation - how many people actually do undertake work (paid and unpaid) because of gendered violence. How many hours paid and or unpaid are spent each week worldwide by people working in the field of violence against women? Last fall, in an unprecedented initiative, a High-Level Panel on Reform of the United Nations recommended the creation of a new international agency for women. The recommendation was based on the finding that the record of the UN on gender has been abysmal. If that agency comes into being, headed by an Under-Secretary General, with funding that starts at $1 billion a year (less than half of UNICEF’s resources), and real capacity to run programmes on the ground, issues like violence against women would suddenly be confronted with indomitable determination. Lets count our working hours worldwide and send the information to Ban Ki –Moon, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, demanding the creation of a new international agency for women as recommended by the UN reform panel. Saving Taylor
Taylor is a victim of court ordered child abuse. Despite evidence of horrific frequent episodes of child abuse, the family court in Virginia ordered that she stay unsupervised with her abuser due to the biological connection with her. If you click on the picture above, it will take you through Taylor's trauma and the courts extreme negligence towards the protection of this child. The evidence includes court transcripts, witness statements and her own evidence begging them not to take her there. This is just one of thousands of children who are ordered to be with a parent who is abusive, despite evidence and risk factors. Petition to Automatically Suspend Social Workers Who take children without a Court Order After a number of incidents where children were taken by social services in the UK, a call for suspension of social workers has been initiated. A motion has been made before the council of the European Assembly to review the violations of human rights against women and children. In the statement, it notes that mothers have had their children removed because they were victims of domestic violence or on the basis of medical evidence for which there had been no second opinion. It further states that the Assembly believes there is sufficient evidence and concern about the operation of family courts in relation to the European Convention on Human Rights in Croatia, Portugal and the United Kingdom to request that an investigation be carried out. Remove Sex Offenders Parental Responsibility The UK Family Law currently has been known to authorize parental rights to sex offenders with no accountability towards to outcomes of child cases. Unless there is a major outcry, little is known about cases that go through the family court instigated by sex offenders. Some of these have involved children born out of rape who are then placed by these courts at extreme risk of child sexual abuse all in the name of biological parent rights. Whilst with our own "natural justice reasoning" we often put in good faith that courts do not hand children over to known abusers, this is often not the case. It is a petition that one should not even have to call as one would expect more ethical responsibility is taken into account with law makers especially in the matters of children. So please take one small moment out of your life to sign away a better future for our children and their children in hope that their lives are not disrupted by the actions of known sex offenders. |
